DANVERS — Bruce Ingalls Jordan of Danvers, Mass., beloved husband of Sandra Edmands Jordan, son of the late Madeline D. Jordan and Keith L. Jordan, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Humphrey Street sees some activity

It connects civic buildings, commercial businesses, the most densely populated neighborhoods and the most popular natural resources. But as it currently exists, Humphrey Street is not the main road through a successful downtown Swampscott.

Remembering all firefighters

Honoring the memory of Boston firefighters Michael R. Kennedy and Lt. Edward J. Walsh, who lost their lives battling a Beacon Street blaze last year, should give us pause to reflect on the danger of having a job that offers no guarantees that we’ll come home safely at the end of the day.
